Pigaroo hurried on towards Bees-wax’ hive. How funny those geese had
looked sitting in the dust!
"It’s much more fun being rude," Pigaroo laughed to
himself. "I’m going to forget every one of my manners."
Then Pigaroo got the hiccups. "Hiccup, hiccup!" Two rabbits were hopping by and they frowned at Pigaroo. "Hiccup, hiccup!" went Pigaroo loudly, and he giggled. He ran on past the rabbits. "Wasn’t that Pigaroo?" said one of the rabbits to the other. "I thought so," said the other rabbit. "But Pigaroo would never hiccup without saying "Pardon me" afterwards. It must have been some other little pig that was being so rude." The rabbits shook their heads sadly and hopped on. |
