Mama Pig gives Pigaroo a welcoming hug Pigaroo ran back to his pigsty just as fast as his fat little legs could carry him. He dug and dug and rolled over and over in the cool wet mud. He ate up every potato skin and carrot peeling in his trough. He squealed and grunted and squealed some more until his mother laughed to see him so happy.

"What has my Pigaroo been up to?" said his mother.

"Went visiting," yawned Pigaroo, "but I'm so glad to be home." And he settled down next to his mother and after grunting, "Good night," fell fast asleep.
